Could you tell me how I know if my application is being process in O-PP office or in Cairo visa office?

My friend just send them the GCMS completed form its the only way to know where your application and what happened to it

My timeline is:
Application filed 26/3/2012
Sponsorship approval 11/7/2012
Medical done in January 2012
Since 11/7/2012 no update

So did they asking you to redo your medical ?

About Cairo or O-CPP
Call CIC and ask where is my file? Don't tell them you know from your AOR since it should state and might be wrong...otherwise they will tell you as stated in the letter and the agent might not even make an effort to pull your info

In reference to my question about o-pp or cairo ,I have send an inquiry through case specific email that published in cairo office website I found that O-PP send me the replay about my application .dose that mean that my file is processing in O-PP?

I believe the PO Box is for regular mail, the other address is for applications sent via Courier (as they cannot deliver to a PO Box)

I sent ours to the PO Box I used ExPress Post via Canada Post.

Dear all,

we arranged a prepaid package online with UPS.After having no status updates on a package for 5 days,we contacted UPS office in Cairo.Guess what?!They had no idea about our order.How is it possible?Why no one contacted us?!A lot of questions,unfortunetly no answers.So disappointed ,we called customer service and basically redid the whole order once again.When you do the order online there is an option where you can send an electronic label to anyone you want ,at first we sent it to visa section ,maybe that was our mistake ,we still have no clue,second time we sent a label to a UPS representative in Cairo.This was 1 part of this confusion.
Second part was -a refusal of giving my hubby;s passport without a file number.In an e-mail from embassy was not mentioned that we have to provide a file number ....anyways after couple e-mails between UPS agent and hubby ,passport was finally picked up.

Now package is Canada ,in Lachine ,in Montreal.Scheduled delivery was Friday by the end of the day.Because of long weekend we have to wait until Tuesday.

I wrote this so you guys will be more careful,not to make same mistakes.

go to the ministry of health and order birth certificate in English directly , and at ministry of justice you can translate the marriage contract , don't forget to authorized everything from the Minister of Foreign Affairs to seal every single paper , god help you , you have a long journey , welcome , lol

Hi there ,
Like Mr/ mamado explain to you my friend you will need to do

1-Go to the ministry of justice On the thirteenth Floor ( At Lazoughly Square ) to translate the original police criminal record (el Fesh wa tachbiha )
2- To translate the birth certificate in english you can go for ministry of health behind ( Maglas sh3ab ) and you need will need to translate your name as you wrote it in your passport and your moms name too
3- To translate the marriage contract .....you will translate it from ministry of justice (dar el kada2a el 3aly..in Ramsis street ) and i think it takes between 1 to 2 days to get it .. ( but first preparing photo copy the marriage contract and your ID number and too copy photo of her passport and too ask your wife ) becz i think they asked me to do that
4- then after your translate your marriage contract you will need to go for canadian embassy to stamp it ( i stamped the arabic and english contracts )
5- After all this go to the Minister of Foreign Affairs .in Ramsis street to stamp everything the close office you will find it inside " Trajman bus station on second floor "
6- Make copies of every document and keep a copy of the receipt for your payment of application and the receipt of the medical

For police clearance, you will need to sign it first from ala7wal elmadania in abasiya then police academy which is in abasiya too ,thus you will be able to sealed it from minister of foreign affairs
also their is branch of minister of foreign affairs in essise building near the American embassy and the Canadian one

iam sorry free islam 1 more question bro lol do is it important to certify the marriage contract from the canadian embassy? what if ijust translate it and certify it from elkhargia?
