Can I ask how/where you ordered the CAIPS notes? I've been trying to search where to get them.

I found a little bit of info in this thread:

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/status-still-in-process-t84762.0.html

For what the one user has written, I think they give a very detailed letter about everything that has happened/is happening with your application. I don't think it gives information about how much longer it will take or when you will have an interview (if needed).

Hello yaz,

If you have already ordered CAIPS you may be getting it soon ( usually one month or more ).
You can understand what is going on with your file from the entries of CAIPS because it is the Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System, the software used by Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Canadian diplomatic missions to track visa applications.
Probably you may not be able to get an information what you are really looking for. However, once you get the CAIPS print just look what is it.

This site will give you information about ordering CAIPS or GCMS

Okay the problem is that both my husband and I are awaiting for his visa in his country (Lebanon). My mother lives in Canada, can she bring it for us and then just send us a copy? Or can I still apply to get it and ask for it in an email? Or can I still apply to get it and just have it sent to my house in Canada (I love with my mom, so we have the same address) and then my mom just scan and send a copy of it?

Your husband can authorize your mom, to get the CAIPS for him:

There are two ways to obtain FOSS or CAIPS GCMS notes.

1. If you are physically in Canada, you can obtain them for free under the Privacy Act.
2. If you are overseas, someone else (a Citizen, Permanent Resident, or someone physically present in Canada) will have to obtain them for you under the Access to Information Act. This can be a relative, friend or sponsor, or a commercial service. For this there is a $5 fee (more if you use a commercial service), and you will have to provide consent. Forms for this are available on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website.

Payment can be made by credit card.

I have question, they requested ARC and i sent it one week later from the request, actually they gave me 60 days for sending, they are gonna work on it after 60 days or they can take a decision before, because i sent it earlier to get news soon, for example caips notes can show me if they are working on my application I mean on ARC or not????

From what I understand, and what my MP's office explained to me. Your visa officer has probably set a "bring forward" date for 60days from when they sent the request.

When your information arrives to them, it is put on your file and the file is brought forward to the visa officer automatically, however the bring forward date is still there in case the visa officer misses the new information.

So with any luck, and if things go as smoothly as they are supposed to, the visa officer will review your file shortly after your new information arrives to them, but if not, there is a bring forward date so that the visa officer will look at the file at that time.

You should know though, that the officer has 30 days from the bring forward date, to review your file.... so even if it said (for example) November 30 as the due date, they'd have 30 days from then to review the file and look for the new info.
