Buffalo's processing time

Huh! That is strange indeed. Did you put that little sticker/barcode on the envelope that you sent...I was surprised too when my bank said the draft has been cashed - a week after they received it... Sometimes Customer Service do wonders....I hope she knew what she was doing....

I was trying to get the same info. But when I talked to my bank the guys was actually telling me that the money was indeed out of my account, I said of course because of the DRAFT, that money goes into another account and from where the cheque/draft gets issued. Then he said you have to call the beneficiary of the draft and see if they already cashed it out, yeah right!..they don't tell anything in Buffalo. so not sure if it was already en-cashed or not.

jovan, can you check online, what status is your ecas in cic web ?

Below is what is on my ecas. They added the phrase in red font today (It was not there yesterday).:


"We started processing your application on June 24, 2010.

Medical results have been received."

So the ECas is behind the reality...I have heard that it is only updated on Tuesdays, needless when you get an update from CIC. Jovan, when is the Landing Scheduled? Keep us posted on what document to take when you do the landing - I am assuming you will do your landing via US-Canada border? Thanks

i just go to trackitt discussing forum, 2 people got PPR 3 months after IA, which is a good news. Their files were processed in Buffalo office too!

I think I got it. DRAFT en-cashed on Dec/30th.

You see! lol. They at least like 'cashing Draft' - super fast in that.... Hang in there... February will not end without a PPR for us.

Got this one from Trackitt - yes ppr received on 7th february for us.
we sent meds 21st july 2010.
fee request with IA letter 25th november 2010 ecas update ' meds received ' 28th december then ppr !

it wont be long for oy now surely but i think your in a position to send case specific email enquiry!

Thanks. I noticed 3 cases approved in the last 4 days ( including this one), but they are all ones who received their AOR/Medicals in June. I thing they are trying to clear their June backlog.
