Have you emailed them? What did they say? 3.5 years is a long time, that is 42 months!

As there was in the news that CIC is working on the "forgotten applications" from Buffalo office, it is true and I got the passport request after 40 months. I guess your turn is close.

Hi guys. I'm FSW2 I do have a job offer in Canada. The beginning of all process started I'm Aug 2011. Sent my docs in April 2012 to Buffalo then transfer to Ottawa

I just got an email asking to update my information.what should I expect now? Time, what they will request now, how long.???? Any one with same experience? I just want to now if I should get excited cuz my case starting moving or will be still awhile

*** one more question. I do have job offer, they will still ask me for funds in my bank?

You should be happy, they have started to polish you for landing.

They might ask for anything, be prepared and stay strong.

I think you got request for ppr from Ottawa then u send request to transfer your file to New Delhi
Did you get any reply from them
Or just submit your passport , or you have special permission

When my file transfer from Ottawa to New York it took one week ger transfer but New York contacted with me after 40 days after file transfer

Today i checked and found that New Delhi consulate has completed and sent my passport...hopefully in 1 or 2 day i will get my passport with PR...will update you...

i received passport today with PR visa..it has been almost 3.6 years i have been waiting..

Thanks to all of you who helped me many many times in this forum...

i wish all the best for rest of you and soon you guys also will receive PPR.
