I have a question: Most of the emails I am getting from Ottawa VO says to reply with the ATTENTION: Case Analyst so and so.

Is case analyst is a specific person?

Yes when you put attention Case Analyst bla bla, it will go directly to the person who is working on your case.

Today I received an email from Ottawa Visa Office issuing a final reminder for me to pay my RPRF. I paid this and sent a receipt to them on February 24th. I have advised them of this and am waiting to hear back. I checked my credit card history and made sure that I have been charged.

This seems very strange to me.

We received our passports containing the immigrant visa yesterday along with CPR. Visa express in November, exactly 1 year from the time we did our medicals.

Remember me? I filed my application on the same day as you did.You said we need a miracle for buffalo in March 2012

It's good that we both have got passport requests. It would be a happy coincidence if we get visas on the same day/week/month.

Ours was a little unusual case. Chronological chain of events as follows:

March 26: PPR email received.
March 27: Passports FedEx'ed.
March 28: Passports delivered.
April 1: CIC emailed us about missing pictures for our newborn. We never saw this email as it was filtered in to our Junk Mail folder.
April 15: Emailed them to follow-up and inquire about the status of our passports.
April 17: Reply from CIC requesting the missing pictures while also indicating that they had emailed a similar request on April 1.
April 21: Pictures FedEx'ed.
April 22: Pictures delivered.
April 23: Visa issued.
April 26: Xpresspost tracking activated.
April 28: Delivery missed.
April 29: Package containing passports and CPR picked up from the post office.

After doing medical, and get a document update request, Ottowa is sending my application to Turkey!!!!! What a surprise.

Any body with the same situation?


Any suggestions??? It has been over 2 years that my application is in process..... why did you decide to send to turkey, while I am in Canada already??

No I am not. I am Iranian. But why would they ask me for everything in Ottawa then send it to turkey?? I don't get it ;(((

How long did the whole process take? I am wondering about the whole stamping process because I have a trip scheduled and I can't do it without my passport.

Tajik it was very fast, took a little over a week from me sending it be being returned to me. Sent it next day Fedex with a prepaid return xpresspost.
