Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases(FSW) - Pls join here

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to join the group of people "patiently" awaiting to hear from the new VO. Since we received our PER it has been a complete silence. Fingers crossed for good news very soon.

Hi PR 2012, Thanks for your help. Im planning to wait for few more weeks to confirm my file has really reached ottawa & ottawa will be the visa office handling my case. I do not want to send original PCC to any office if it is not the visa office processing my application. Simulataneously I do not want to keep the PCC for long time with me & they get expired before seen by the visa officer(My India PCC is three months old right now). I had included my US FBI clearance in my original application. At that time my India PCC was not preapared & I did'nt want my PR application to wait filing so I mailed it without India PCC. I may send my update docs in one month to Ottawa office. Hopefully they will be recieved..!!!

same with me, I have the India PCC and German PCC and still waiting where to send it...
No response or information that were my file is...

As per my analysis from the forums... Ottawa could take another 2 months even to touch our application

I've renewed my passport and my work permit in May and confirmed from my local MP and CIC agent that my file is currently in Ottawa, so I sent these new details electronically to Ottawa office and they confirmed me that you file will be updated accordingly and they got the documents, the best bet to send an email and ask Ottawa, if you guys can send these documents? They will reply you for sure if you indicated everything like UCI, DOB, Name etc...

Hope for the best from Ottawa, always crossed my finger to get any update from Ottawa, I guess this month would give us some news, let's pray for each other.

I'm new to this forum so don't have much info. But do you think the new policy on eliminating the back log till december would have a speedy impact on our applications?

Hi,

I applied in July 2011 from USA and got PER in September and still waiting to hear from visa office, my issues is we recently moved and since my son's passport was expiring in August 2012,I got it renewed and want to update the information, but don’t know where to send the information since the Buffalo visa office is closed (Ottawa, Detroit or New York) or shall I wait till I hear something from the visa office.

Any suggestions and help will be appreciated

Hi Nadeem55, Nice to recieve your input. Im glad you could confirm with local MP in Canada for your file and could also update your file with Ottawa office. Since my doc include submission of original PCC as well I will opt for mailing it than sending it by email.
By the way how do one contact a local MP. Can any one do that? I do not know anyone in Canada locally? Neither do I have legal representation?

As promised by CIC call center rep, I can see the status reflecting my file transferred to CPP-O (other thing he said was I shall receive email, which I didn't)

We received your application for permanent residence on May 31, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 4, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 19, 2012.

Hi P9999,

In order to contact through local MP, you would be physically reside in Canada, they need to talk to you, sign a declaration form and check your photo ID and need your signature... if you're outside of Canada, I guess, it would be difficult to contact or to get any information from them.

As like other members I'm also frustrated with this tiring long wait of our immigration file to be processed

I don't know yet how to make my time line but I submitted my file to Sydney NS in march 2011 and I got a reponse from Sydney in April. April 25th was when my file was transferred to Buffalo under FSW program and ever since then it is in queue. So I think I'm in MI 2 category. Based on your experience on this forum and your interaction with your officials do you think we have few more months or weeks to go now inshaAllah?

Hello guys, same us here we just got the info that FSW PR Application was transfered to CPP-O Ottawa...Our paper was aknowledge March 2011 to Bufalo. We already followed up 2 weeks ago at the info below but still the said office is silent. "Silent Night, O holy night"...

Hello everybody, Just know from CIC Website that all PR application sent to Bufalo by CIO was now transferred to CPP-O Ottawa. My case was filed Feb. 2011 and my friend was filed Jan. 2011 same at bufalo. My friend was informed that their application was transferred to LA Office and they already took their medical July 2012.

But now in my case since Bufalo already transferred there obligation to Ottawa then I guess my FSW PR Application was sitting there. How can we sure its in Ottawa? How long we gonna wait?

Our timeline is closer, my FSW PR was submitted at CIO Sydney and was recieve by BUFALO VO March 2011...and I guess docs are in OTTAWA...until now no updates yet..
