My ecas changed from "in process" to Decision made yesterday.How soon does one hear from cic after that.They said they will be communicating to me soon.How soon?
I need an answer urgently.I'm nervous.

I checked my eCas today and found that it changed from "in process" to "decision made". The 4th line was added.

We received your application for permanent residence on December 6, 2011.

We started processing your application on October 28, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I never thought I would be so excited......and nervous at the same time. Experts, any thoughts????

hi i sent my FBI last week Wednesday the 22nd of Jan 2014 , hmm still nothing changed online status but got an email confirmation FBI report has been added to my file ( i requested in the email please confirm the receipt of my FBI certificate)and started processing on my file, anybody have idea still how long should i have to travel , my case analyist is DB0000XXXX , please friends anybody has this officer and got PPR after FBI with in howmany days ???

I think many who are still waiting several months after medicals have this case analyst.

yes, you are right, look at my timeline and I have the same case analyst.
it is over 6 months after medical and still waiting.....

but veri 33 got the PPR in 2 days with same case analyst ...but some people waiting..since months from the same case analyst ??

yes, you are right, look at my timeline and I have the same case analyst.
it is over 6 months after medical and still waiting.....

some guys get stuck under security review stage. If that's the case you could wait for months and even years. Only some applicants go through this stage, for the most of them this is not done. It depends on the case analyst if they will check you more or not. You could be one of the applicants being chosen.

I really doubt if these case analysts are the cause of the delay in our applications. It does appears like thier roles are more of the initial review and cordination of the application files while the actual processing is done by some visa officers. In my own case, the case analyst told me after my MR that my file is in queue for a visa officer to review. The analyst also said that medical result is to be screened and updated by the medical branch.

In sum, except we see somebody who works in CIC and who tell us how they operate, thier modus operandi will remain a guess to us. Hopefully, our PPR comes soon and all these headaches will be over.

you should check caips,,, if I NOT received ppr before MARCH 1, I WILL check caips
