Yes. I applied online. It's really weird that I got it before other ppl who applied online as well. Could it be because they r probably accessing my CEC file that I filed on sept 9 2014?

Not sure, I applied Aug 2014 CEC.

Applicants may now submit their bridging open work permit (BOWP) at the same time as their application for permanent residence. Once the completeness check has been performed, the application for a BOWP will be processed. BOWP applications received before the completeness checks have been performed will be held until they are ready to be processed.

You will be in Implied statut until they start processing it. Your application won't be rejected if your positive eligibility decision hasn't been made.

It's possible that some officer are starting to follow this.

This is ridiculous. I applied long before this change, not to forget that this is my second BOWP I am waiting for.

So in this case, am I assuming right that this was your 1st BOWP ?

Yes. It's my first BOWP. It's valid for one year

As I said earlier, this BOWP is not for Economic Class Applicants. In the bottom it says that it updated for BOWP of PNP and other applications. I wouldn't be worried about it.

Summary

No, I'm not from Visa exempt country. But I do have Ontario PNP application that I submitted in July 2015 but I didn't attached AOR from PNP. I attached CEC AOR.

I don't understand why my online BOWP from August 22 is still waiting while Sept BOWP applications are getting approved.
I am also a August 28 2014 CEC applicant. Did not receive MR yet.
