BOWP - Apply or not, please help

Hi,

My work permit is expiring in two months from now. I applied for PR under express entry on Feb 24 and so far have only received AOR.

I am not sure if i am eligible for open work permit or not. i have read on cic site that I should have R10 completeness check in order to be eligible for Bridge open Work Permit.

I do not know What R10 completeness check?
Can someone please help, if and when should i apply for BOWP.

IMO, you should definitely apply for it as you may have passed R10 by the time VO assesses your application. You can also request for GCMS notes to check if you have passed R10. The processing time for open WP may vary from 1 to 3 months.

I received my AOR on Feb 03 and applied for BOWP after 5 days on Feb 08 and it got approved in April.
You can apply with the AOR they will process your application once it reaches result of r10 check.
