Birth place error

hi i am applying for canadian passport . My birth place on my indian passport and birth certificate is different. It was by mistake.so i want to ask can i or how can i correct the error while applying for new passport ? Thank you

Use the birthplace on your immigration file. Remember you are going to surrender your Indian passport after obtaining Canadian citizenship.
