My sister in law has been asked to give her biometrics for her TRV application. She has been asked to give them within a month but she cannot make it due to some personal reasons. Is there a way to request an extension to the deadline?

She lives in a small town 400 kms away from the nearest VAC. Due to the roads in her country, the journey will take several hours. Plus it is Ramadan and she is fasting during daylight hours. Plus it is very hot during the daytime.
No you will most probably not be allowed to defer the biometrics. As for your contention that it is Ramadhan then you should have either delayed or preponed the application. As it is 12 days of Ramadhan are already over so even after accounting for the remaining 18 Roza and Eid you will have a week to do the biometrics.
