I submitted for me to sponsor my husband dec 2010
Accepted January 18 2011 it's reached Syria
Had medicals done with app
Redid them February of 2012
Husband had an interview almost four months ago
They told him no more then a month and we r still waiting
My husband is 26

I dont know why its take too long. She dont live other contry than lebanon and she and her family dont have political affiliation.

please advise if you would like to proceed with the DNA procedures in order to send you all the instructions and continue the process of your application within 07 days of the date of this email.
you can immagine after almost five months from the interview the need her advice which she already gave before.

please advise if you would like to proceed with the DNA procedures in order to send you all the instructions and continue the process of your application within 07 days of the date of this email.
you can immagine after almost five months from the interview the need her advice which she already gave before.

I applied to sponsor my spouse in November 2011. Last two times I contacted embassy the reply was they are waiting for security results. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how long this process usually takes?
When we first applied the processing times were 13 months and we have now reached 19 months...there must be something one can do?? Someone to contact? I have friends who were given the visa between 8-11 months.

marwah they asked for the DNA test coz they want to make sure of the parental, this means to make sure if my children are realy belongs to me or not, are they realy belongs to their mother or not.
they requested it coz the insufficient documents i provided, just more delays

You were advised during the interview that a DNA test is required to establish parentage because the documentary evidence is insufficient.
Therefore, please advise if you would like to proceed with the DNA procedures in order to send you all the instructions and continue the process of your application within 07 days of the date of this email.
