I am new to this forum, I was reading some of the comments and was really happy for the people who received their pr this month and may God help the others who are waiting... alla yijma3na jamee3an ma3 a7babna.
I have a question and would appreciate your help. Last week I received an email from CPC Mississauga saying that my wife's file has been forwarded to beirut for processing. My question is how would my wife and I know that the file has been receivd in Beirut and will they assign a new file number in Beirut or will we still use the UCI to check the status of the application?

which hospital you called,,,,my wife did the first and second at Rizk hospital in ashrafiyeh,and at the second time the receptionist told here the same so i called and explain for her that we need to do the second time the exam and our file is open in the embassy so she said ok and my wife went and redid it,and the doctor told her that alot of people redoing their exam,and she e-mailed it to them and saved the green form till they ask for it,all this happen in may this year.
so try to call again and explain to her,because as a doctor and hospital i don't think they mind making money.

Second I would like to share my funny story ( i was so busy to share it), I got an email on Friday from the embassy to submit my passport on Mon. Aug. 6, so I had to leave UAE in two days ( had a million things to do before leaving for good) and my wife left to Canada. I went to the embassy, gave the passport to a rude blond Lebanese lady and she told me that I would get a call in two days. It has been almost 3 weeks and did not hear any thing from them.

I advice you Fadimaya to ask to talk to a person from the visa section.

ecase is still the same application received in 23 march 2011 . documents request in mid jun, 17 month 3al add since application received 2 month in canada 19 painful months medical renewed in jan 2012 , mesh 3aref shu beddi oulllllllllll am so happy nayrid thx all hope the same for u , i was loosing hope i was going to leave to uruguay or costarica to live there lol am so so so happy

Maybe she meant you should go after 2 days : did you try to call and ask about your passport ?

Our file went to Damascus before the closure of the embassy, no one ever informed us about our file even after they transferred them from Damascus to Beirut Visa Office. We use the Fxxxxxxxxxx number to check our status on the website, which I got it after sending an email to Damascus embassy.

Hey, none of us received any notification from Beirut VO concerning anything let alone when thy received our files. They might send one to new applicants like you, not so sure but my advise is don't expect them to keep you up to date on the status of your file, when they say nothing that means that mostly means that everything is normal on your file. They stamped my visa on 7/8/2012, it took them 3 weeks to change my status on ecas. So basically ecas is unreliable don't mind it much and good luck!

LOL!!!!!!!!! the sign was real!!!!!!!!! But, you should really go to the embassy, they can't hold your passport for soooooooooo long!!!! Yalla amazing news!!!! Congrats!!!! I know which lady you talking about... yea very weird!!!!
