We applied around the same time. Got our AOR 20th August 49XX but have not heard anything as yet. Not sure if they are selecting certain skills. We had to leave Canada and return home and have been back now 5 months with our jobs waiting for us to get back and us thinking we would have heard back before now. From what we here they just send a letter now no email so hope that it gets to us and we can't phone or email to ask any questions. Starting to loose hope on it all. It really is so frustrating. Are you still in Canada?

Temporary Pause on New Application Intake
Effective immediately, BC PNP is temporarily pausing program intake for 90 days in order to introduce a new streamlined application process and program criteria. The PNP will reopen to new applications with a redesigned process in July 2015.
Those who applied to the PNP on or before March 31, 2015 will not be impacted. Program staff will continue to process PNP applications already in the system and bring on additional staff to improve processing times.
PNP will continue to accept applications under the following categories only:
- all Express Entry British Columbia categories including:
- Express Entry British Columbia – Skilled WorkerExpress Entry
- British Columbia – Health Care Professional
- Express Entry British Columbia – International Graduates
- Express Entry British Columbia – International Post Graduates
Skills Immigration:
Applications will not be accepted under other Skills Immigration categories or the Business Immigration stream at this time.
BC PNP will continue to process existing applications during the temporary pause.

plus, they said they are gonna improve processing time and add some more staff.

since 31, MARCH, there is nobody got a nomination in bc pnp regular stream.
this is my point.

yes I know they just put pause on accepting new files...I never said that they won't process existing files and not gonna give new nominations ....I just shared what they said on their website about new files.... I knew they r gonna process existing files... but recently I heard form my friends that their friends who applied in July 2014 they just got decisions....jamieyang said:

Bc PNP office received maximum number of applications during July 14 to dec 14 and they were not equipped well enough to handle this mad rush. In the mean time EE procedure cam into existence and they have special instructions to go slow on applications prior 1st Jan 2015. Since they have agreed to process all the files prior EE , we are at their mercy now and can only wait with patience. The Canadian immigration and citizenship history only suggests that they have a very bad habit of discarding and rejecting the old applications ruthlessly and move on with the new applications. Still we shud not lose our hopes. Regards to all.
