BC PNP options during/after Working Holiday visa

Hi All,
Could you tell me what are options to get PR through PC PNP while being on Working Holiday visa with job offer (1 year valid).
Can I apply right after I arrive?
What is the cost and processing time?
The thing is I have job offer for WH which doesn't need LMO, but to extend work permit later, after a year will be needed and employer doesnt wanna deal with that

Hi. You can apply for BC PNP or MPNP with working holiday visa after working as a full-time for certain amount of time.
(BC PNP - 9 months/MPNP - 6 months)
You can easily check the information from their website.
If you got nominated by the province before your work permit is expired, you can extend it without LMO.

It helped, thanks a lot, where did you find this information, as haven't found anything about 9 months, except semi-skilled program where you can apply after 9 months, plus i sent enquiry to them, they reply pretty fast with:
"The Young Professionals work permit is for a year and I otherwise am not really familiar with it. If you wish to apply to our program, your employment must be permanent and full-time. A job offer which reflects this must be included among all other information we require."

Hello there, I am Bcpnp, I I don't know if any difference working in a holiday visa, but I think you need to ask you employer if they want to help you to apply bcpnp, he have to give you a full time offer, recommendation letter why they want to hire you, and some others documents. If everything is OK, the process is not complicated, and if you work permit expire the pnp give you a letter to renew it but only to work in the company that sponsor you. I can't warranty that the whole process take less than 1 year. This really are my thoughs but if you read the bcpnp web you can find your answers. Good luck.. Y-R

yanesrahn, thank you for your advice, howerer my biggest concern is - if I'm already workin at a position ona awork permit, does my employer has to prove he actively recruited locally to fill the position, or not, they are willin to support my application, but dont wanna deal with LMO and stuff like that - they wanna keep the process simple...

Hello Stngr, If your employer wants to help you, is a very good news, but he has to do some papers, recommendation letter... And Yes, he need to probe why you are the one for the job... Is not so difficult If he didn't adv the job maybe he has to do it, every case is different, in my case i was working in the company and they explained the process to hire me. -What did your employer do, to prove he searched someone locally? I heard for federal its very tough part - they need to advertise for months on many portals, report every interview conducted etc. - You said he only wrote briefly explanation
-What are the employers costs in this whole process? Or its only applicant fee of $550?

I don't know if the requeriments change but for me my employer wrote a letter explain how thy hire me, how many weeks the adv the position, how many people respond, how many interviewed, and why thy choose me. And for the cost I paid the amount. I really recommend you read carfully the bcpnp web, there is more information. I don't want to tll you anything wrong itis only my case. I don't know the details of your case...good luck

Hello, yes I did. I applied in Vancouver, another thing very important is your salary, you have to check that it match o exceed the minimum request for the province. (metro vancouver or rural areas).

Already did, but got intention of rejection due to they didnt recognized my area of training, plus they still changin csq plus it takes forever, i have chance for BC with job offer which looks easier and a lot faster

Yes, I think the BCPNP can be a faster way. I asked you because you have to show them the intention to settle in BC, one of the thing that they don't want is that you were applying in different provinces. be careful with that... Good luck again...

Thats no good then, I applied for CSQ in 2010... Will be tough to convince them, especially with all this Canada-dislikes-Quebec thing...
