Hi, I have been a regular visitor to Canada since 1997. Lastly I was granted 10 year visa which expired a year ago. I am planning a visit in summers so I need to reapply. The issue is that my circumstances have somewhat changed and so has the application process and some requirements. Previously I used to provide bank statements and letter from my husband’s office, but since my husband passed away few years back that is not possible. I don’t have much cash in my bank. A decent amount is invested in form of certificate from which I get regular monthly payment. My question is, if I show this savings certificate account as my bank statement, will it be considered. Please advise, TIA.
