1. I would like to know if its legal to carry relatives PR card from Canada if we also carry signed authorization letter?

2. And can we cross US canada border by foot if we have valid US visa and canada landing papers/COPR?

My question is If we have two applications and passed background and security checks via CAIPS, Is it possible that VO repreat those for another application? Or I save the time for it?!

I mean when you pass medical test for e.g work permit visa and you have an application via immigration, in this situation I hear that visa office consider past medical for both and there isn't necessity for repeat it...

I don't know is it a rule or it depend on each case or officer decision??!!! any experience about background check?

Dear you just have to email them a scan copy of letter its also worked

2. Can't opine, depends on the b/g check completion.

4. Usually u should get thru, if there r no adverse reports in ur b/g & security checks.
5. The chances of interview request stays till ur PPR.

My medical will be expire on 9 april and send query to CIC lonfon , they replied they have been noted regarding medical time and also mentio have to complete landing process before that date. but waiting for background check up. Iam so worry as have limited time period.

Dear Qorax,

Just wanna clarify.... you said PPR is issued only upon completion of security clearance... we have received PPR already and sent our Passports... but then after sending our passports.. CEM requested for an updated NBI(since my old one on file is past 1 yr already), Updated Sched A and IMM 5406.... does this mean that our security clearance is not complete yet even after receiving PPR? Whats your idea on this ? I changed address also before receiving my MR--- is this the reason for requesting updated Sched A and IMM 5406? My caips notes list SECRIM status as code 1...though .... Do I need to worry? please comment

I have been asked for additional medical information, can you please tell me what that could be, anyone face the same situation or recd any additional medical information request...thanks

I cannot X-ray the envelope with the additional medical request so, I wouldn't know what there is.
However, my eldest son was asked to undergo additional:
to measure pick flow of exhaling (probably to check for asthma) and consult with TB-specialist (obviously for TB )
No doubt my son is healthy and the additional check up (for $75) proved that.
In general there is nothing to worry (it will just cost some extra money, that is all)

Only they know why they need you to do additional check up. And they would not tell you and the DMP is not at liberty to tell you even he/she would know.
And you should not open that envelope (you are not allowed, and it say what they want to chevck, but not why they want it). But, I am sure you know that.

The progress on ur b/g & security checks would be logged on GCMS & that'd apply to ur any & every concurrent application/s.

they ask for additonal medical for yr son because of scar on xray or any reason they given
