Background check take so long !

Hey guys

I've applied for temporary work permit on 25 OCT 2018.

normal processing time for my country is about 12 weeks but for me it's more than 22 weeks which passed !

I sent 2 emails to IRCC and asked them about situation of my application and Every time they said my application is in the background check review !

Is it good news ?
Is there any which I can do ?

Finally after about 9 months my application got approved on 15 June.
