Background check stay as Not Applicable for six months

Hey,

My background check status stay as not applicable for more than six months now. I have already passed my medical exam successfully and CIC didn't ask me for additional information.

Does anyone have any idea why there is no update on my background check? What kind of BG check takes them more than six months to do?
