Background Check - Not Apllicable

I filed everything on April 15th and on May 10th I passed my medicals. However my Background check shows up as Not Applicable at the same time. From what I read here, was thinking it should have been In progress right? Anyways I was hoping to know if anyone have the same experience like mine. Please do let me know
