Background and security checks !

I was going through one of qorax threads about the subject where he said that for these checks our data is sent to the concerned departments of our native homeland. I personally think that it may be done in exceptional cases as doing it in each case will lead to extensive delays. I guess most of the cases are done on spot on the basis of info that we provide in the application. Please suggest if my understanding is correct.

Security checks are the last but the most important part of the while process. These days everything is onlinr and database shared with internal and external agencies. I would say it will get time consuming only if there is a negative remark on someone. Hope this helps.
