Hi anne, we will be working together as room attendants on the same hotel. we will be in calary, alberta (hopefully soon). How about you? Where will your work be located.

Dan, im sure you'll receive yours soon. My husband's visa was issued on October 30 (as per the passport) but the embassy sent it over to us on November 7, hence, received yesterday. It was supposedly to be delivered on Saturday but we called Aramex to deliver it asap coz we can't wait any longer since we already know that the result is already in their hands.

By the way, since last Saturday i am calling aramex everyday just to check if there is package under my husband's name and number and luckily yesterday when i called them they confirmed.

I was asked by CIC to carry out medical examination, this was done abd sent to CIC London on 23/10/2012
does any one know how long it would take to issue the visa after sending the results
By the way, I noticed on this forum that the married status and the high skilled applicants got their application processed faster to the single or low skilled applicant

@ MDoha : hi... we are on the same path....i have done my medical on 25th oct,until now no reply from the embassy ....but in the abu dhabi embassy website ,it says it would take additional 2 to 4 weeks from the date of medical to get the visa .....hope this week we'll get our visas....

I believe that the medical examination is a the last step prior to issuing the visa

Is normal that they do not reply, so do not count on that and do not be upset; actually replying is the exception. Still, what harm to send another one? you never know Good Luck and keep us posted in case they do.

This is true, 2-4 weeks added when medical is requested, and it could be the last step prior issuing the visa, Good Luck.

Nothing yet unfortunatly. Their last email on 30.10.12 was: "Your application is under process and we will contact you shortly" yet nothing since.

I emailed them on 06.11.12 based on this email, yet still nothing.
