I guess they are just waiting on the verification for your child. What email did they reply back with ? was is the same email that you sent them the email on ?

Same Email ID , I sent the email with my details and Application ID and reply was with my kids name.
I read some where that there is not background check for kids (17 and below no background check)

Haha, no way! Good news is coming your way this week for sure. I get that IRCC's application process seems crazy and ridiculous, but I'm confident yours won't be delayed for long.

I see October and early November applicants already got their invitation for oath .. this is insane !!

Still no update. Even BG is still pending. Such an annoying experience with IRCC and Scarb office in particular

Do you think being outside the country while application is being processed (test done outside) slows it down?

I also read someone’s recent interview experience with Scrb. The officer apparently grilled the person on why she is in the US and not in Canada. She eventually got her Oath but her experience got her to think that they may not grant or further delay her application.

I dont think it will slow it down. I have been in canada and mine is just as slow. No updates.

Hey there, have you tried to email the office at the oath email id??
Not an expert, but I have read through the posts , 1-2 folks in same situation as yours emailed and got the oath schedule within a week.

Yes, I sent an email on Jan 3 to IRCC.DNCitMISScheduling-ConvocationMISCitRN.IRCC@cic.gc.ca and I just got an automatic reply, nothing else and certainly no updates.

I've also called multiple times, but they keep telling me to be patient.

I believe there's different email which worked for a couple of folks, I have gone through that post
