ARC ADVICES!!

Hi guys, i got an email from my VO about i need autorization to return to canada, but i am confused because when i was in canada i was as refugee claimant and i got my departure order an i left on time, but when my husband and me filled up our sponsorship documents we wrote i got deportation order and noooo, we were confused because we didnt know the difference between deportation and departure order i will scan my departure order that they gave me to send it to my vo, i did everything on time, everything what they said i was on time. i am worried i have to apply for this autorization but how long is gonna take, they will autorize me or not???
please advices people who knows how apply please helppp!!!!

The conditions for a departure order are:

1. Departure Order (form number IMM 5238)

a) If you received a Departure Order and
•left Canada within the required 30 days and
•verified your departure with a Canadian immigration officer at the port of exit

you do not need an ARC. You may return to Canada subject to normal examination at the port of entry.

b) If you left the country without verifying your departure, or more than 30 days after the Departure Order was issued, the Departure Order automatically becomes a Deportation Order and you need to apply for an ARC (see point 3 below).

Please see where I have emphasised with bold. Even if you left within the 30 days, but you did not fulfill the condition to verify your departure with an immigration officer at the port of exit, your departure order became a deportation order, and you need ARC.

Again from CIC's website:
If you are applying to come to Canada for any reason, (visiting, studying, working or immigrating),you should not submit a separate application for an ARC. If your application is approved, the ARC will be dealt within the context of that application. You will simply be asked to submit the fee.

If you are being asked to pay the fee for ARC, all you need to do is pay the fee.

TO WHO I HAVE TO SUBMITTED THIS PAYMENT I AM CHECKING THE WEBSITE AND I DONT HAVE ANY ADDRESS IT IS GONNA BE FOR MY VO OR FOR MISSISSAUGA AGAIN , CAN I DO THIS PAYMENT ONLINE OR HOW PLEASE ADVICES??
I SENT MY DEPARTURE CERTIFICATE TO MY VO I WAS NOT OVERSTAY IN CANADA DO YOU THINK THEY ARE ASKING ME THIS ARC BECAUSE WE MADE A MISTAKE WHEN WE FILLED UP OUR DOCUMENTS WE WROTE I GOT DEPORTATION ORDER AND NO DEPARTURE BECAUSE IN THE WEBSITE SAY I DONT NEED THIS ARC I DONT KNOW WHAT I HAVE TO DO AND I DONT THINK SO MY VO OFFICE WILL REPLY MY EMAIL SOON TO TELL ME IF I NEED IT OR NOT MAYBE THEY WERE CONFUSED TOO.

I don't think they will just decide you need ARC on the basis of your making a mistake by writing "deportation" instead of "departure". The question is: did you or did you not notify an immigration officer when you were leaving that you were the subject of a departure order? If you didn't, then you need ARC, because your departure order became a deportation order automatically, it doesn't matter if you left within the 30 days.

What does the email say, exactly? If they are requesting you to pay the ARC, then it will give you instructions on how to pay it.

if a removal order has been enforces , the foreing national shall not return to Canada, unless authorized by an officer or in other prescribed circumstances,

Our records show thay you were orderes deported , as you were previously deportes from Canada, you are currently inadmissible to Canada and you require autorizaion to return if you wish to continue with your application.

CIC's records show you were ordered deported, not given a departure order. If this is an error, then provide them with your Departure Order Form and proof you informed the immigration officer when you were leaving, at the port of exit, that you were the subject of a departure order.

If this is not an error, then do as they ask and write a letter about the circumstances which justify your return and why you did not leave Canada when ordered to do so. Pay the fee of $400.00.

When you are approved for ARC, you will be given a form with instructions on how to make the payment. It will not be paid online, or to CPC-M, but to the visa office handling your case.

Hello, my husband had to do the arc through the Mexico office as well. When they sent us the email similar to the one you received. And they included a link to the payment option. And I believe the only way was a money order or bank draft. And you have to send it to the VO along with the letter explaining why you should be allowed back in to canada. Everything has to be submitte to mexico at once

Hi Costacro.

I had to apply for arc as well, through Rome office. The VO sent us a document/Email requesting an explanation + ARC fee.
On October 4, 2013 we sent ARC application.
