April 2023 family sponsorship outland

Hi everyone, I also applied in April for my wife’s spousal PR, and I received a letter from IRCC that my file is transferred to New Delhi office (not sure why this happened). Below is my timeline:
Application submitted: April 11, 2023
AOR: May 25, 2023
Sponsor Approval: June 20, 2023
Biometrics completed: June 26, 2023
Medicals completed: July 22, 2023
File transferred to New Delhi: September 1, 2023

No update thereafter. Does anyone know anything about why this would be happening? Or is there anyone who is around the same stage as me? I will appreciate any response.

Hi Everyone, here's my timeline so far.

April 23: Application submitted
Jun 2: AOR
Sponsor Approval
Jul 5: Medical Request
Jul 29: Medical Exam (Ahmedabad, India)
Aug 5: Medical Complete
Aug 31: Eligibility complete
Sep 1: Pre-Arrival letter
Oct 6: Background check complete
Oct 7: COPR details updated in tracker

Not received passport request as of Oct 12.

Give it about another week and see if you can contact the New Delhi VO. they are probably doing your background check/eligibility. Did you check the tracker?

Give it an another day or some.. check your junk/spam folder as well. If not you can contact IRCC sometimes they forget to send the PPR.

Update: my application in the tracker is now “closed” COPR details have been updated as well.

but have not received the passport back yet. Still in transit to embassy/VFS office

Update guys: my husband picked up his passport today.

for those of you still in processing don’t give up.

Hi all. I received an update on 10/06 stating my background check was completed and then received an email the same day asking for my US military records. I submitted them on the 7th. I got notification my documents were received on the 9th. How long should I wait before I reach out to IRCC asking for an update?

I’d give them about 2 weeks usually they respond within 10-12 days depending on the VO taking care of your file
