I just got off the phone with IRCC – same story as before: "all looks good, nothing to worry about, it's perfectly normal as your file is within the normal processing time". Also got confirmation that my file is still with the Scarborough office.

Can you please share the process of reaching out to the MP? How did you go about it and what questions specifically did you ask? You mentioned that you're expecting a response from the MP's office tomorrow. How long does it take for MP to get back?

Good they confirmed your application looks good, as usual, the thing is I got my test and passports requests from Scarborough but when calling they all confirmed that my local office is in Mississauga which caused more confusion on who should I contact, I believe my application was transferred from Scarborough and that was is causing delays and waiting on someone to pick it up! Thats why I keep nudging them

Depends on your MP in your area, I emailed mine and one of his team followed up with me and sent me a form to fill, and they said on May 11 someone will contact you with details/updates.

My AOR was April 7th and my LPP wasn't completed until April 12. My Test was completed Nov 21. I would give it another month judging from my timeline. I'm also with the Scarborough office.

So, for you, the entire timeline from test till LPP was still approx. 4 months and 3 weeks. For me, it's been over 5 months. If I factor in the 2 weeks of strike, then probably it would add up to a similar timeframe. But I do get you, thinking it might be best to wait it out for another month. By then it will be 6 months anyway.

last week Thursday or Friday, some MPs may take longer to get back to you, depends how organized are they and how big of team they have

yupp. i have to travel at the end of July so im hoping to get everything sorted out before then
