April 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

I am proposing that anyone who has send their applications and for 6+ months there is not even an acknowledgement, lets all submit an application again. We will get AOR for one and the other one will be returned.

We can only do this as we dont have any other information to start with.

Guys, should I connect to CIC for this matter? My file delivered Apr 24, since then there has not been any action. I see some AORs in the April file but they also kind of frozen again. Dealing with CIC is always stressful. I am hoping for successful results for everyone soon. thanks.

I can tell you the CIC answer before you connect to them. 'We dont have a record of your application in the system as we are still working on applications received before Jan 14th 2020'

and the call centre agent was rude and annoyed by the question, which I could tell from his tone.

that's interesting. I guess they got bored too as much as we did. Well, this is not our fault. We send them a package whatever they ask from us. So we did our part and expecting the same thing from them. Anyway, Canada is a great country, for most of us, it is a second home even maybe the first one now. All I know is everything gets done in this country if you are patient enough for waiting. that's my 2 cents guys, talk later again.

I did. I submitted the transcript of my diploma from a Canadian college.

I had IELTS scores from PR application. But there was lot of confusion if we can submit an expired IELTS general scores. In my application, I submitted a copy of US degree diploma. and it seems, it worked for the language eligibility.
