Hi All,

What is the wording on your BGC. Mine says has not yet started and will inform when it starts.

Just wanted to know if others have similar BGC status. Its already 33 odd days since AOR.

tks,
tbn2k18
Same status on my profile, 30 days since AOR. Have you paid RPRF?

I made upfront payment for both components. So will not know unless something changes on my application.

Is it possible that BGC check has started in the background but the profile hasn't been updated yet? Have people got ppr from this stage?

I was asked to pay RPRF on April 28 with April 14 AOR, does that signify anything?

Morning Folks,
I have two questions:
1. I am in mid of collecting and uploading documents post-ITA receipt. Could anybody please guide me, How can I apply for the medical examination. Will I receive any form of medical to fill in my CIC account as new message or I have to upfront call and book for medical examination from the list of hospitals?

2. I have applied as primary applicant and would include all my work history documents including roles and responsibility. Do my husband being secondary applicant also need role and responsibility letter from his companies?

Please guide me.
2. Primary applicant needs to show work experience to claim points. Dependant applicant may or may not show work experience unless it is Canadian experience. Canadian experience will offer points for dependant. Trend is that for dependant the work experience non Canadian is moved to personal history. No need to provide documents unless requested.

1. For medical appointment call the hospital from the list. Setup an appointment. Get the medical completed. The hospital I went to uploaded results to CIC. I just had to upload scanned copy of medical examination page for AOR.

RPRF request is generated when A11.1 (initial eligibility check ) is met by case analyst... usually at CIO... after this files are transferred to local VO where your eligibility is checked again and it is up to VOs discretion to accept case analyst recommendation or request further additional documents... your eligibility will be passed then...at Local visa office...this is based on what I have gathered from my GCMS notes and my case...

but getting RPRF request is a good sign for sure. Timeline from here forwards depends on which visa office your file is finalized at.

tks,

Do you have RPRF or paid the fees upfront.

I guess most of April applications would have moved to designated VOs by now.

Keeping fingers crossed for status change this week.

I paid them upfront, i thought the processing of my file will be quicker by anticipating the payment, but now i see that it doesn't really have an impact.

if my file has moved to a VO then i guess it's in Paris VO right now (i'm from Algeria). Do you know if all VO process files at the same pace ??

i have read many peoples complaining about the slow pace of NDVO and London VO, but i haven't read any feedback from paris VO.

I mean.. I don't know how much to read into this but there's a lot of hate on Twitter for Paris VO: https://twitter.com/hashtag/GetParisVOWorking?src=hash

I think it's more specifically Iranian applications that seem to have a problem there.

i saw someone from Algeria on facebook who got it's PPR in 70 days (maybe because she was a NB PNP), so i guess it's not all that bad (yes i know i'm conforting myself but we have to hold on to any good news we can find :p )

anyway, from IRCC website, Paris VO is responsible for temporary resident applications from : Algeria, Andorra, Belgium, France, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Portugal (including Azores and Madeira), Spain (including the Canary Islands), St. Pierre et Miquelon, Switzerland. To be honest, that's a lot of small countries so there dont seem to have a lot of workload to justify their slow pace.

You're right, we have to stay positive, hold on to good news, and hope for the best! :)

Guess we need to pull up the stats regarding processing times at specific VO. Only thing is to stay optimistic. I am sure NDVO has good amount of workload since there are many Indian applicants. But thinking of ordering GCMS notes towards end of May.
