Manila VO as well. Our bg check just changed to in progress today. I'm a May applicant but posts here in the April forum are more informative hehe. I hope we get our PPR soon...

Do we still need to pay anything upon PPR?

Same here with Warsaw. Been in process since June 28. Nothing after that. When I applied for PR in 2014 in the CEC category, it took 6 months for the status to change to in process but then it was decision made in less than 2 months. Being in process for six months?

Hi..I already submitted my passport last Oct 7 then mycic changed to completed/this application has been approved just today. Upon sending the passport to vfs in Makati, you have to pay for SMS notif -68php, Secureness of passport from vfs to cem - 500+. I paid for 605php since I will just pick up mine but if you want to return the stamped passport via courier I guess you will have to pay 890 for everything.

I am a May applicant as well. Actually my wife is PA. Like you and others, I follow April as May forum seems to dead! lol

It's exciting news that BGC is on process and hope you will get PPR soon. This also gives us a hope too. When did you submitted your file to CPC-MSSGA? I mean date?

Let's just claim that ours are next.. real soon. Can't wait to see my BG changed from Not started into In progress.

how did you get your mp to take a look?

I wrote him an e-mail, telling him a little bit about my husband and I PR story. I also gave him the UIC number and application number of our application with the name and date of birth of my husband as well.

He sent me a acknowledgement of receipt the first day and the day after he called IRCC and wrote me back with the infos (he also called me and left a message).

My application was received April, I ordered notes every month since July. It's helpful to trace the process. On eCas/Mycic, it will only update you regarding different stages in general. Notes provide you with the details on what different officers think of your case. Most importantly, it traces all correspondences with you. It is especially helpful if you may have missed a document request from them and they unfortunately treat you as non responding, but indeed you haven't received the request in the first place.
