Woke up this morning to a passport request! We can not believe it is over! What seemed like forever was by cic standards actually very quick. In the six months we had our application returned, we changed our names, wehad a request for additional documentation including a court custody document. So given all of that we are very fortunate.
We will never forget the great advice and support we recieved on this thread and site. Our thoughts and wishes are with everyone going through this nightmare.

i ordered my first gcms notes and it looks like they havent started anything on my application except medical which passed :'( if i ordered the notes on sept 8 and got them on the 12th of oct would it be updated for oct 12th the notes or up until the 8th of sept?? someone please answer i cant believe nothing has been started so far :'( :'(

At the very top of the notes they will show a date most likely around sept 13. That is the date they captured thenotes. Check the older Ecas system and the first change will be background check.

Everything is an educated guess but I read that your background check has started. I doubt they would start the background check and then want an interview so I think you are fine.

How do you know if your medical is passed if you aren't using MyCIC ?
I'm only using Ecas and it has been written that Medical results have been received for a long time now.

That is the crazy part. You almost need to check both and combine the results. I do not know if they are updated by different people or offices but by adding them together you can get a bit better picture.
