Are you already in Canada? When did you send your passport? I just wanted to know how many days it's taking to get stamped PR visa and send it back to the applicant.

here i am ....they have been processing my file from 27th aug 2013.. yet no news ..patiently waiting..did medical and paid rprf on aug 27th it self..
god knows when this wait gonna end..

I know. I wish we could get more information. Doesn't seem fair that other applicants are receiving theirs before us.

mine says so..but since aug 27..

hey did u receive the biodate form along with rprf or was it like your eligibility is finish and criminal and security on process and was asked to pay rprf..
what does ur ecas say..
mine has 3 lines

med recd..

Congratulations again...and yes I have noticed your time line after your PPR. It's really fast that you got your passport within 10 to 12 days. I have noticed a couple more guys here who's passports were also came back within 8 to 10 days time frame.

My only concern is, my H1B is going to expire on March 4th which is less than a month. So, I am still waiting for my PPR...don't know how it's gonna happen. We are EXTREMELY tensed now a days. God, please send my PPR soooooooon.

I know very much about you thru Edmontonbound...we speak almost everyday. If you don't mind, we can be in contact too. I don't mind to give you my contact info...just let me know.

Yes on ECAS it says they started processing August 13. I just received an email saying my file is ready for final approval but that they need the RPRF payment - I had paid this on August 22 so I just resent the confirmation. Hopefully I hear back soon.

I hope you get the PPR ASAP. if your visa expires here in usa, will you have to travel back you India, and then come to canada directly from india??

I just found out today that the immigration consultant who was preparing my application didn't send the receipt for the RPRF to the correct email address so that might have been the hold up. They emailed today asking for the payment. I'm livid - looks like I could have had my PPR by now if it wasn't for that. God knows how long I'll have to wait until I get my confirmation now. Wish I had done the application myself!!!!

Hi sklin,

Can you please tell me a little bit in detail about your case? You had a baby while your file was in process? The reason I am asking you this question is, we had a baby after we had received our PPR. So, we had to add the baby to my application first and then finished his medicals...and now waiting for the PPR now.

I really appreciate you if you can respond back here.
