Could you please tell me when did you get your AOR? Just for the tracking purposes.

Regarding your case - I saw similar messages on this forum, but not sure about how that situation has been resolved.

as an example: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/i-think-i-missed-medical-request-email-from-cic-what-should-i-do-t150445.0.html

Dear folks,

I have the following situation and seeking some help.............

So i got my medical request ("Movado" please update !!) yesterday, and i have been given 60 days get it done. However, my wife is pregnant now with a due date around first week of September.

Under these circumstances.......... the baby will be delivered before 60 days from now, so should i simply wait until the baby is delivered and can go for medicals? IF yes, after how many days (from the baby delivered) are we allowed to go for medicals (2, 3 or a week ?).......... also if i am taking this approach, then should i inform CIC about this?

On the other hand, i read some where on this forum, we can go for all medical tests except x-ray (which is not allowed for pregnant women) and can updated them immediately whenever possible. To do so, should i discuss this with DOCTOR and is it in his discretion? or will that go with my choice?

In the e-mail regarding MR, it was mentioned ............... "If you are unable to view the attached document or did not receive a document, please advise us by forwarding this e-mail to : Centralized Intake Office, P.O Box 7500, Sydney, NS B1P 0A9, Canada".............. does this ALSO means, i have to contact CIO, NS but not CPP, Ottawa (my preferred Visa Office on application)? i read through some of the posts on the forum, and seems like members got MR from respective VO, but not CIO, NS...... so which e-mail should i use for correspondence in this case?

PLEASE ADVISE !!!

Thanks in advance.

To avoid delays, just go both for the medical check in the nearest time. When you'll become a Father, your wife will have to add XRays and there will be some basic med check for a baby. Meanwhile the visa office will be processing your case further.

I saw some similar posts here, the way I described above seems to be the best solution.

Hello,

I wouldn't suggest you to do medicals now and then again later after birth.

this is the reason why;

If you see jan/feb applications, the way it works after, on average 90 days of you received aor, your status converts to in process, before that even the immi officer doesn't look at your file.

When you medical let's say before 60 days of deadline, go for e-medical. Your result will be shown on ecas within 7 days if u r in canada.

Please be advised to contact doctors for two reasons;

1) for appointment in advance
2) any harm doing med after child birth.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Movado - i spoke to a doctor (listed on CIC) and she said that they can do all required tests for both of us except X-Rays for my wife which shall be done only after delivery of baby; in this case only my medical file will be transferred since its complete; but the doctor has to wait for my wife x-ray to be done before sending her file. So i am thinking that it would take the same amount of time (assuming that CIC would like to process both of our applications together) whether they receive my results now or along with my wife's results. Whats your opinion? whats the advantage in sending my results first? any thoughts are appreciated.

Also, i was wondering whom should i contact? my visa office (CPP-Ottawa) or CIO, NS ?

Thanks

I have a bit of a problem -

I'm on my PNP visa in Canada but the company I'm working for might not be in business much longer so will be out of a job. Does anyone what would happen to my PR application should this happen?

Will I be given time to find a new job on PNP again and would I have to restart my PR application again?

Your case is a bit different from what I saw before - these cases were with a baby delivery, planned more than 60 days after the MR deadline. As, in these cases, the Med check results were taken into consideration by IHS/CIC, I suppose if you'll take an exam in the nearest time, your case will be processed further as well.

It's my personal opinion, based on other people's experience. I don't have anything similar with my family, so can't prove by my example.
