Not really - if your application is complete / straight forward and all enclosed docs are genuine and have all they require to subtantiate a doc as valid - than most probably your app will skip all verifications...they will go straight to a initial decision>>>>>>>background checks>>>>>medicals>>>>>criminal checks>>>>passport rqst>>>> and voila you are there..............

do all applicants get verification calls??

Almost all of the member of this thread has completed one year and majority with RBVO status till now.
I have afraid about how many anniversaries we will have to wait to complete to come end happy ending.

So its almost 12 months after his full docs reached to ND.
In that case we are a long way away from getting MRs.

This has set me thinking that even though his application was submitted in February, 2010 and not May, 2010 (Sapana), his full transfer of documents was done in April, 2010 and he received his MR in April, 2011, so would it not follow that the countdown to MR should be from the date of file transfer and not application submission??? In his case, it was one year +/- some days.

Any opinion, guys???

when I say May 2010 I am talking about submission of full documents to ND VO and not initial application to CIO.

even with that the time line stands that he got his MR almost a year after his full docs. And this is what is a worrying thing for all of us..

I dont think I can wait for such a long period of time... if the MR comes by june then it ok otherwise I will not consider the Canada option...

In fact we had already started working on other plans and now my husband is applying to major b schools in europe.. if he gets accepted there then we will of course pursue that course of action...

Dear Sapana,

Waiting for such a long time is a irrecoverable pain. I will see June/July announcement. If doesn't find any thing positive then i might need to look for the alternatives. I have already got offer for MS in Italy (with funding), Germany (only tuition weaver), some other applications are decision pending. Otherwise, I will have to focus on career here or may think for applying immigration or work visa to other countries.

There is no gaurante that I wil be eligible even they took one/two/three years or more. If their quota is full for 2011 then they can easily confirm each applicant about their probable entry year after checking all background documents throughout this year. They can ask for Medical/PCC/POF again at the time of PP request in 2012/2013/... whatsoever.

Personally, I don't find any proper justification of playing hide and seek games with so many professionals.

It has really a loongggggggggggg wait for the MR. All the future options are on hold cos of this.Good opportunities r coming professionally but have to think and think think to accept those.It is veryyyyyyyy painfull..If the answer is negative den again have to start from scratch.....God help us
