Application received at CIO, Sydney on 21st April 10. Yet to get DD charged in account and awaited for 1st AOR.... Getting very frustrating.

Dear Saki & All Folks

What is conclusion about documents Lock-in/expiry date?

If you prepare your full documents but AOR gets delayed beyond 3 or 4 months, what will happen with Police certificates as they are valid only for 03 months.

Is the period considered from the date when you submit initial application to CIO or when you send full docs to specific Visa Office?

I am too much worried because dont want to go through the same hassle again to get the PCC....

hi yeah my initial application should have been received around this date too, it's so stressful, good luck I hope we hear soon! I might call them later to get my client id just to reassure myself that they did recurve my application. Wish I'd applied in march everything looks like it was much faster then

Hi Navali,

What i personally think is that for the PCC certificate lock in date is when visa office received your full documents but many applicants on this forum disagree with it and says that lock in date is when CIC received your application and some said its also written on the CIC website that PCC should not be more than 3 months old when you send your docs to CIC, so many believe that lock in date is when CIC received your application but still my personal believe is that lock in date is when visa office received the full documents. If you go back few pages on this thread i have written in detail that why i think so.

I am sorry to hear that , but can you explain what does the letter say exactly ? also did they tell you that you can resubmit the application ?
I think your application supposed to be treated as complete and they can either approve or reject , sometimes they ask the applicant to provide more details about job description.

Forgot to change the serial numbers. Its a pain to change the serial numbers as I have to do it manually..... is there any easier way to do it?
