Hi,
My situation :
1. Applying SP for my spouse.
2. I am on closed WP and my wife is on Spouse Open WP. Both of us are in Canada.
3. My wife got an acceptance at a university here in masters program.

Now while applying for SP I am running into few questions as an in-canada client.

What to answer to this question:
1. "Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada?"
Since she is CURRENTLY accompanying me, this I believe should be "YES". "Are you accompanying" present continuous tense so it is her current situation, right? She came to Canada as a SOWP holder accompanying me (Closed WP holder).

2. Have you taken a test from a designated testing agency?
My wife took her TOEFL iBT (Home based) test for admission, which university accepted without any complaint. I doubt TOEFL is a "Designated Testing Agency" for immigration purposes. I will be answering this as "No". Is an English test like IELTS -General, MUST for a SP?

3. My field of study.
She is going to do a masters in engineering degree which is in .... "Applied Science" field? Can anyone confirm?

4. Funds Available.
She is going to pay for her study using money she earned while she worked here on SOWP (in past) PLUS some contribution from my side as well.
We have two joint accounts in Canada. One in which she is the primary holder and another in which I am. We will attach a statement from both of these. Both of these have been active since ... past 3 years in Canada.

4.a Can we use joint accounts (as married couple) to show financial support for her study and living in Canada?
We have several times the amount of funds needed (her study program is very economical, even for International Students, 15K tuition for one and a half year program. God bless Canada!). But our accounts are all joint, which is typical for all married couples. Will it require a signed declaration from me or something?

Just to confirm, we got the SP.
Here are my answers for these questions that I used.

1. "Are you accompanying a family member who has status in Canada?"

We answered it YES

2. Have you taken a test from a designated testing agency?

We answered it as NO. IELTS is not necessary for non-SDS cases like us. I found this tweet from IRCC which turned out to be very helpful :
3. My field of study.
We answered it as "Applied Science".

4. Funds Available.

4.a Can we use joint accounts (as married couple) to show financial support for her study and living in Canada?
We used joint account statements finally with a declaration from me that funds are available exclusively for her study.
