Applying for Study Permit within Canada

Hi.

I am currently in Canada as PR under court appeal for RO. I am studying at a flight school (7 months now)
The hearing date is set and I am more and more expecting to lose the PR status at the end of the appeal. I will have a period of 30 days to leave

The question is, can I apply for a study permit within this period without having to leave the country so I don't discontinue my studies?

edit: Likewise, can I apply for a PR status while being in Canada as a student? Will I have to leave as well into order to enter as PR?

What are the options?

Can't apply until you lose your PR. It will also be difficult to show strong ties to your home country while in Canada.

So I will have to go back overseas and submit one from there?
but can I apply in US (I have visit visa).

Will my previous PR status be a negative to prove ties to home country? I have family and degree from there, lived mostly there.
