Guys This is currently my 12th week ... I have my classes starting from 6th of Sept and still I have no correspondence from cic. I was thinking of making a case specific enquiry but have heard that they do not respond to ... I submitted upfront medical and applied on 6th June ... connected my application online on 5th Aug and it shows medical as passed. I also got admission in germany with classes starting from 15th October and I think given the delay I might not even be able to apply for that if my visa is refused..... can any 1 tell me any contact number I can call and enquire about my application????

Go to vfs Pakistan website. There's an option to chat with their correspondent. He might help you.

70 days have been passed in my application as well and my classes start on 7th sept(and i still have to submit medical)
CIC is the most lazy organization in the entire canada.
Even Ptcl works faster than them.
US takes 2 mins interview (which takes about 15 days to schedule) to decide on the case.
I am really frustated from cic by now. If God forbid i get refused, im never applying for candian study visa again.

So my sister applied for visa on June 24th from VFS Lahore with no Medicals. Her classes are starting from next week. And she has not received medical call yet. This is really stressful. Why is there so much discrepancy in the processing times? How come July applicants got medical calls and June applicants have no decision yet.

I did talk to vfs people. But they always say that email the embassy which is a very vague reply. I asked them for number but they said they don't know

lol they asked me vfs tracking id and date of birth then after 10 mins messaged me that my application is under view and I would get an email or phone call when my decision is made.. No use of contacting them

Yea, that is pretty unfair.
Agreed that every case is different, but to have the duration difference 2x times is absurd.
I have seen many people who applied in July getting answers in August where as many may, and june applicants are still waiting.

The thing is that july applicants were rejected. But not giving decision at all keeps one stranded
