Hi, I'm already in Canada with a spousal open work permit which is valid until 2024. I've been working in a NOC 1 position for a tech company in BC for 9 months now and I'm planning on applying for PR through EE and the BC PNP Tech nomination.
For the BC PNP Tech application, I have to provide the Employer Declaration Form, and I'm a bit confused by it given that it looks like it's focused on people not yet hired by the company or that isn't in Canada yet, specially the recruitment efforts and why the company was unsuccessful in hiring a Canadian worker.
In this case, as I had an open work permit, and was already in Canada when the company hired me, the company didn't really make any special effort to hire me.
How should I approach the BC PNP Tech nomination if I've been with the company for over 9 months already and this is not a "new job offer"?
