Applied work permit in Canada, need to apply visa in India

Currently im in Canada. My employer had applied work permit extension in canada. Can i leave country before my work permit comes if yes can i apply my TRV in india?? What are all the documents needed to apply TRV in india?

I will strongly suggest you to apply for the TRV while you are in Canada because applications made from inside Canada are reviewed in a much relaxed manner than say at a Consulate in India.
