I am an software developer from India with around 7 years of total Exp currently working in Canada from past 6 months and applying PR through Arranged employment category. I have worked for 2 companies in india
1st one for 1 year 9 months .
and 2nd for 4 1/2 years .
( 3rd company is canada , since last 6 months )

I have just sent the application to CIO Sydney and am applying through buffalo.

My query is :- Is there any stage in PR processing where it is recommended to not leave CANADA to be on safer side. (e.g. expecting medical request etc. ) .
I am planning a one month trip to India around november 2010 .
Should I give some other local toronto address for that one month period ??

However, by looking at the time lines mentioned by others it seems that by this time status of my application would be just " IN Progress " ( after receiving 2nd AOR ).

You are free to go anywhere. You can have medicals anywhere, even in India and tell DMP to send it to specific visa office.

Yes, they may send u some letter/ medicals and that must be received and communicated to you.

Thanks. I would apply a new work permit as well in couple of months. So that I receive the work permit well before I leave for India.
