Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Dear Forumers,
here's a question for the experienced ones!
My friend resides in canada and has sent her medical results and now
they asked her to mail her passport to buffalo for the immigration visa.
She also has a multiple-entry student visa in her passport now. Would
the issuance of the immigration visa make the student visa invalid?

I'm guessing "YES", but what do they do? do they put a red invalid stamp on it?

Thank you to those who congratulated me. Also, I just want everyone know that yesterday I got my PPR, my address was still missing on E-cas. And now, my address reappeared. Prior to this, my address went missing after i got my medical request. I do believe that the disappearance and reappearance of the address has something to do with an officer working on someon'e file. It is just that when it reappears, It may not show some changes due to some lack of data gathered to change the status and to send you medical, ppr, etc...Remember, that there are different kinds of factors they will have to consider and check. If the deem necessary to scrutinize on someone's application, they will have to gather some more infos. Acquiring those necessary infos also depends on the other government bodies or entities thay are getting them from. The cause of delay can also be due to not properly presenting your application and not keeping them updated.

My ecas today got updated today (It didnt disappear at all)

it says : Medical results have been received.

so question is

1. does it mean the medicals have reached them and they have to study the medicals now or my medicals is ok and no problems with it.
2. How long it takes to get PPR

congrats..it's a good news. it means SGVO already finalized your medical report and security checks. you will get your PPR within a week. good luck

Its been a month since my E case shows Medical Received but until now I am dreaming only for PPR..

My address has changed.I have changed it online at cic.gc.ca and also send an email to my visa office which is Buffalo,But i am not sure if they really got it! Another problem is that I have changed my work permit to study permit,and I don't know how to inform them.Does anybody have an idea?
By the way,is Buffalo Visa office sleeping again?I've been waiting for my MR for 6 months.Any news?

London VO works differently than SGVO.
SGVO issues PPR with adding the line "medical recvd..."

To All my friends in the forum,

I had been waiting for the past 6 months for a movement from NDVO and was really very very frustrated. I made a case specific enquiry with NDVO last week and on 22nd. Sept my address disappeared and came back the very same day in the evening.

Today, I have gone into "IN PROCESS". We reviewed your application and started processing on 21st September.

So I am 100% sure that address disappearance indicates the visa officer is busy with your file.
