Today we just got a letter from Rome visa office saying, that our application is in process and for family class, expected processing times are: 5-7 months. On ECAS when i loged in, it's says that they started processing our application on March 11, 2010.
When we send the application was in November, so the expected processing times (5-7 months) it's gonna start from November or from March, when Rome visa office started the application? We're confused..... please if anyone can help..... thnx in advance.

I finally received my AOR.
Reading this and another forum, it looks that for italians it takes an average of three months from sending the application to CPC-M to receiving the AOR.
Is anybody there that got the VISa already? Just to know how long it really takes from the WOR (the statistics says 5-7 months)

YAYY WEEEEE FINALLY ROME SEND THE EMAIL YAYY
This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
The processing of your application will be completed and immigration visas issued once you mail us the following:
1) Original passports (not photocopies) valid for international travel for yourself and your daughter.
2) Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee payable by your sponsor to CPC Mississauga
We expect to receive the required documents within 30 days from the date of this e-mail. On receipt of the passports and correct RPRF, visas will be issued for entry to Canada before: July 31, 2010 .
No changes or extension to your visa will be possible after it is issued.
If you wish to use a courier service for return of your passport or documentation, you must provide a pre-paid, pre-addressed courier airwaybill when you send your passport. We will advise you when your visa is ready so you can contact your courier with pick up instructions. You should record the airwaybill number that you provided for return delivery so that you may track the delivery yourself. We will not contact courier companies on your behalf.
FOR ALBANIAN RESIDENTS: If you wish to use AC (Albanian Courier for delivery and pick up of your passport and visa you must contact Albanian Courier directly www.albaniancourier.al (strongly recommended).
