Hi, We've applied for a Student Family Visa. Here's our application timeline:
  • Lodged on December 30
  • Biometrics Completed: January 03, 2024
  • Medical Completed: January 05, 2024
Since then, there have been no updates. The tracker indicates that the background check is in progress, but the RE has not yet started. I'm feeling quite nervous due to recent changes in the law. Is anyone else in a similar situation?

wow congrats! from what country your brother from? hoping everything got a good result as well.. ours until now still the same status.

Anyway did you he get email when RE started or he received email when IRCC request for PPR?

oh so theres a possibility the Gtracker and GCKey is not updated. how about his Background checking is it done?
