application for baby passport

I am perment resident and i living in canada from last 18 months.
I am thinking to apply Canadian passport for my just born baby.
I checked application process and document on website.
I notice one thing need one Canadian citizen guarantor for her passport application.
He is Canadian citizen & he know me last 3 years before come to canada but I live here form last 18 months in this case he will give me gurantor.
I would appreciate your reply promptly.

Guarantor can not be mother or father or any other close family member. He/She could be your friend or any other know person.
