Thanks for the response. I'm a little concerned with your reply to my last question, let me elaborate it.

1. Should the PCC be taken since birth?? Isn't it from over 18 years to date?

2. I was in KSA as a resident from 2014 to 2018, been visiting Sri lanka during that period many times, while we fill the travel history later on in the profile, we should mention those stays in Sri lanka right? As we have to scan all pages of the passport? So while filling the PCC, shouldn't we fill in those days too? I'm confused now.
Even though they check activity after 18 years, when we select Sri Lanka in the official website of Canada, it mentions there that to select period 'since birth'. See below link;
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how/sri-lanka.html

I was also preferred to select only from 18 years, but didn't want to take the chance since the website specifically says this.

So should we mention the residencies outside SL from 18 years or should we mention before 18 years too?? I was residing before 18 years abroad too for some time.

I was in confusion for the same reason too. So we have to mention all the vacation trips to Sri Lanka from entry day to exit day. I didnt know we have to provide since birth.

Do we have to exclude the vacation days while we apply for the PCC from the country of residence abroad?
I recommend that you include all the vacation days as well. I don't know if since birth is actually required. I provided all vacation visits I did to SL since I was 18.

The police report will indicate these vacation periods if you mention them. Then it will collaborate well with the travel history that you mention in your express entry profile.

Ok contact your local institute representative and ask them to send the transcripts to WES from the UK university. They deal with this daily. They will direct you. Then you have to send the final degree certificate photocopy directly from a local post office.

Also you have to get a duplicate transcript from the institute when you are there for application purposes later.
Hi. Asking for a friend, she is planning to do a B.A. Primary School Training in Metropolitan College which is affiliated to Girne American university. I'd like to know if it is approved by WES and evaluated as a Bachelor's? The final year certificate and transcripts are from Girne American University.
Should the university in SL send to WES or the one in USA?

So you requested the PCC only from 18 years of age?

While mentioning the dates, for example, entered SL on 1st Jan 2019 and left on the 10th Jan 2019 (Flying day), while filling we will mention 1-10 Jan 2019, will the PCC show 1 to 10 Jan or will it show 1 to 9 Jan, excluding the flying date?

I read in one of the posts that someone got rejected because there was a gap of 1 day difference to what was on his passport and the date mentioned on THE PCC.

If it's by default that the PCC will be issued a day before flying date, then should we give details as 1st Jan to 11th Jan 2019 as a vacation stay in SL, so Polic report will show from 1st to 10th respectively.

I hope my query is clear.

Waiting a for reply TIA

If you have completed all 4 stages of BCS your WES evaluation should be equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor's Degree
In my case since I only completed until the Diploma Level, the WES outcome came out to be a 2 year Diploma.
It would be advisable to complete all 4 stages of BCS to get a positive ECA from WES

Hope this helps...
Hi Prashan,

in WES application, should each certificate of BCS (certificate, diploma, pgd, and project) added as a separate credential or all BCS certificates with the project should be added as a single credential. If it’s a single credential what name should I use for the field “Name of Diploma/Certificate”. I am having trouble finding answers to these questions. Any sort of help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

No I requested the PCC since birth but my travel history I mentioned since I was 18 years.

Correct, don't leave a gap of even 1 day. You can mention travels you did before you were 18 if you want. It shouldn't affect things significantly because you mention these dates in your express entry profile since you were 18.

Yes the dates have to be mentioned from the day you land on SL to the day you left SL. So 1st Jan to 10th Jan. In other words, all the days you were physically present in SL. No more, no less.

The PCC will be given for Jan 1-10 then.

It's pretty forward. Dont over think things. Just report the days you were in SL truthfully when you apply for the police report and then later on in your Express entry profile.

Hiiii,
1. Anyone applied for PCC from Sri Lanka online or at the Police HQ recently?

2. How long does it take online or at the HQ to get the certificate?

3. How long is the PCC valid?

4. Do we have to mention the vacation days in SL and excluding vacation days out of SL while filling?
Online It will take two to three weeks
