Bro I went to hemkunt sahib on foot. But I also want go there on bike, Since I am a biker. I asked few guys and they said that there is no restriction. Some guys in past have gone till Hemkunt sahib on bike but very few. I also saw a picture of a guy with Yamaha going to hemkunt sahib at one of the hotels. You cannot go in this season since it is full of Snow and the path way in only 2 feet wide. And you have to leave some way for Sangat as well. Even the horses go till certain point and the last 3 KM is by Foot only. But during the later season when the ICE is melted and have better path, one can definately go. You need a very good dirt bike with Good suspension, Powerful engine (Ported is recomended) with Knobby tyres, Very good riding skills on mountan terrain and ofcourse Blessing of waheguruji. Few of my cousins and friends are Rally riders, Next month we have monsoon Rally in mumbai. I will start looking for a good bike, modify it accordingly and plan for a trip to hemkunt sahib.

Dear Rawlin IMHO, U have to submit the copy of your new PP to NDVO, It can create confusion later on or can delay the processing...coz Passport verification is the part of SC.

most of the interviews are waived......coz they don't have the reqd resources and manpower to conduct it.

The IOs may conduct interviews for only those applicants who he thinks are forging personal info or whose docs do not satisfy him. They are well trained and experienced enough to look at loopholes in an application.

For example, MI3 applicants hardly get any interview calls coz they would be wasting their time when the final eligibilty is already made by CIO and they need to have sufficient and concrete doc evidence to reject us.

They mostly conduct interview for married couples who have not completed even 1 yr of marriage, as they think most visa frauds happen in this category.

There are many more factors for which they conduct interview to determine that the applicant and accompanying members appear to be the same members who maybe granted entry into Canada.

I can be wrong, but from what I see interviews mostly happen for MI1 married applicants.

I hope this solves some of ur doubts regarding interviews.

its because VO want to clarify if some info is missing/not clear and need personnel verification, most of the time ppl get interview who got recently married or updating their details during process like marriage or birth of baby!! In some case VO place an interview if he need clarification on Experience and POF of PA/dependent..NDVO may have some target for putting ppl on interview, so they can call anyone(but mostly above mentioned ppl) I hope this info is clear as Crystal..!! cheers
