Hi guys,

I got married 2 weeks ago and now the question is should I report and add my husband to my file? he is already permanent resident but my concern is adding him would delay finalizing my application even more. But I guess not reporting it is also illegal. Any advice is appreciated.

I would suggest you to follow viva's recommendations and the CPC email is correct.

The email is correct. Don't forget to mention your UCI and File #.

About updating the forms, it is a good idea. Meanwhile ask them if any other document is required.

Hello lavalsong, I just received the notes in which I could see that my medical part has been changed to 'pass' on Aug 25. However, I still don't have the third line. Order the notes then I guess you can see the progress of your application. Good luck to all of us waiting here 8)

I just received ready for visa email. Unfortunately I cannot use it right now, I emailed them that my marital status has been changed and attached a copy of my marriage certificate and copy of my husband pr card. I hope this won't cause much delay in my application

Zorro I was and am super busy and still on vacation, I haven't checked my ecas in a long time, i don't know what line has appeared there now.

I received my GCMS notes today. It mentioned that the paper file moved from FSW-REG to AW-5180. Any one knows what will happen in this step? It mentioned the due date is October 15.

It's hard to say what happens next. Hopefully you would receive PPR soon. When did they move your file from FSW-REG to AW-5180? Was there any notes about your file?

According my GCMS, it moved on September 3 and the most recent note on my file was on September 16 and it's label was general. Did you receive your GCMS recently?
