I have some important information to share with you. I received my new GCMS notes today.

1. My application was assessed for eligibility and the officer recommended my application to be passed. Then they asked me to provide proof of funds. After submitting the proof of funds, they officially mentioned that the application meets eligibility requirements and then I received RPRF and medical requests within a week. So, everything happen very fast now and there is no time to update reference letters between initial and final assessment.

2. I updated my reference letter once and it seems that they referred to updated letter for my duties and lead statement but they awarded the points based on my original letter (sent with my application). This might be due to not updating the Schedule 3 form.

3. No points were awarded for my wife education, my Canadian son, and my previous study in Canada.

4. They didn't accept one my of work experience letters due to not being dated and missing lead statement.
When you say they didn't award you any points for your previous study, do you mean the 2 years towards your PhD? If so, we are not entitled for those points anyway, while the child's and the wife's points are a must have!
How many points did you get in total? and how many years of experience were accepted.

I just noticed something in my notes. In "Eligibility" section of the notes they awarded 5 points for my son but they didn't include these points in total points awarded in "Notes" section of the file. I mean I have two different total points, one is 68 and the other one is 73 (Both awarded by CPCO). FA01772 referred to 68 not 73 for eligibility assessment.

Yes. I mean previous study in Canada and we already knew that we won't get any point. They accepted 2 years of work experience and awarded 17 points for that. TA and RA were claimed in same letter. I claimed full time RA/TA and got it. For rest of your questions please refer to my previous post.

That is really weird! They didn't even try to add those points for the spouse's education.

I have a question. Do you know when your application was assigned to an officer for the first time? I mean was it assigned to an officer after you got Doc request or it was assigned recently?

My online status showed my medical results has been received. I have another two questions: 1) will I see another line show RCMP received? 2) will there be another line show RPRF received? Because I selected my RCMP sent to CIC directly. Thanks for your answers.
I don't think you get any line for RPRF...I never got and never heard of anyone getting it...in my case I did not even get one for medical....but I know you do get it for medical eventually....

Regarding RCMP I have no clue because I did not submit...

It was assigned to FA01772 after first doc request back in July 2013.

18 years old is part of the new policy. In old policy (before May 4, 2013) there was no age limit, so I was entitled to receive 5 points.
