Yes this is right after 8 days of document sending. I did not receive any acknowledgement of document sending. I do not know wether every body receives that

Congrats, man The forum has been too depressing lately, it's good to finally hear some good news Anyway, since you said you applied only using TA/RA, maybe it's a good idea for you to share what descriptions you wrote for your letter ?

The letter for TA is from the undergrad chair and states the following info: details of the assignments (year, course, position, level, hours, salary) and the job description (conducting tutorials, discussion groups, grading and exam/test administration).
For RA, the letter is from my supervisor. It includes periods and amounts of payments. Responsibilities: design and build experiments on ..., equipment maintenance, computer programming and data analysis, presenting the results in international journals and conferences.

I sent them an email asking if they received the doc's. I don't think they acknowledge on their own (which is stupid).
