I have submitted a case specific inquiry to change my address a month ago. Is there any way to verify that the change has happened?

You should have gotten a response in 10 business days post your query, confirming your CSE was received. If you already did, and need further confirmation, I can suggest 3 ways:

1. Call IRCC and tell the agent you need confirmation of receipt of CSE sent for address change, or
2. Send an e-mail to CPC CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca
3. If both of the above options don't work, then you will have to send another CSE seeking confirmation of the address change.

Wanted to ask people on this forums opinion on the following situation:

I am waiting for my FSW Outland pr (mid March aor) but I was planning on going to Toronto mid September. If I get my PPR during my trip can I send my passport off then just go to the boarder to authorise the visa?

You can send your passport to Ottawa for stamping and then go to the border for landing.

BG went in to In Progress yesterday and got email related to it today morning at 9AM which I saw only at 11 AM when I woke up... thinking email was for my PPR I logged in CIC hoping for PPR message but that was not to be... logged off the system and in another few minutes at 11:09 got another email about new message in CIC... logged in again to system with a pounding heart and there it was ... PPR message in CIC.... and then the most beautiful PDF I had ever seen... PPR
